Vietnam's First Private Space Research Division
Why now? Why Vietnam?
Every year, Vietnam loses up to billions in GDP and hundreds of lives to natural disasters. Entire provinces vanish under floods.

We have the talent.
And yet... we lack the infrastructure.
In 2018, Storm Yagi displaced thousands and exposed the vulnerability of Vietnam's disaster preparedness systems. In a region facing increasingly frequent typhoons, droughts, and flooding, time-sensitive satellite data can mean the difference between disruption and disaster.
But Vietnam still relies on foreign-built weather satellites and imports the software needed to process and visualize that data.
Why now? Because climate volatility is accelerating.
Why Vietnam? Because no other country will build these systems for us.
Oriviet Research Labs exists to fill the void between national vulnerability and national capability, by creating the software stack necessary for sovereign space systems.
Space Infrastructure Begins with Simulation
Oriviet Aerospace was not born in a university lab.
It was born from the conviction that Vietnam deserves better space infrastructure.
Not decades from now, but today.
At Oriviet Research Labs, our mission is twofold:
To equip Vietnam with advanced simulation tools capable of modeling launch trajectories, orbits, and satellite networks in real time.
To empower the people of Vietnam with native-language educational resources that demystify the technologies of space and simulation.
From orbital physics to weather-monitoring applications, we're laying the groundwork for a sovereign space future built not by foreign contractors, but by Vietnamese minds.
Projects Underway
Astrocelerate
Our flagship engine for high-fidelity orbital simulation. Built in Vulkan for unmatched performance. Supports maneuver modeling, orbital mechanics, and real-time state updates.
Vietnamese Translation Project
A national-first initiative to translate key orbital mechanics and aerospace materials into Vietnamese, accelerating STEM accessibility.
Astrocelerate in Weather Monitoring
R&D in progress to apply our simulation engine to model Earth-observing satellites in disaster-prone regions of Vietnam.
Astrocelerate Expansion
Additional applications of Astrocelerate in mission design, nanosatellite deployment, and GNSS simulation are under development.
We're Building for Vietnam. Join Us.
Oriviet Research Labs is not a student-led side project. It is a technical and national imperative, built years ahead of its time. We are looking for advisors, collaborators, and early-stage funding to help scale our efforts from prototype to policy impact.
If you are...
A domain expert in orbital mechanics, space systems, or satellite data processing,
An investor or grant reviewer looking for underrepresented but high-leverage innovations,
A policymaker or technologist focused on climate resilience in Southeast Asia,
...then we want to work with you.
